3 pounds of fresh green beans or 3-4 cans of whole green beans (canned is easier)

16 strips of bacon

1 cup brown sugar

1 cup melted butter

½ tsp garlic salt

Dash of soy sauce to taste

 

Place 9-10 beans together vertically and wrap with 1 slice of bacon; place on flat pan

Mix brown sugar, garlic salt, soy sauce and butter together until well blended; pour over bundles

Marinate in refrigerator 1-3 hours

Bake at 350 degrees, uncovered, for 15-30 minutes; bundles are done when bacon is crispy and firm
