Quick Sausage Pepper Quiche
1 roll out pie crust, softened
1 package ground sausage, mild or spicy, depending on preference
1 red pepper, diced
½ cup milk
¾ cup cheddar cheese
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F; place crust in pie plate
Whisk eggs and milk together in medium bowl; add cheese; set aside
Cook sausage in pan over medium heat; remove with slotted spoon when browned and add to egg mixture. Do not drain fat.
Cook pepper in sausage pan with reserved fat; when soft, remove with slotted spoon and add to egg mixture
Pour into pie plate and bake for 45 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Set for 5 minutes before serving.
