About
Elizabeth Adams is a book-loving, tango-dancing, Austen enthusiast. She loves old houses and thinks birthdays should be celebrated with trips—as should most occasions. She can often be found by a sunny window with a cup of hot tea and a book in her hand.
She writes romantic comedy and comedic tragedy in both historic and modern settings.
She currently lives in Baltimore with her husband, children, blind cat, dog, and a growing flock of parakeets.
I write mostly funny Austenesque books filled with characters you love and those you love to hate. Mr. Darcy is always swoon-worthy (though sometimes he takes a minute to get there), and Elizabeth is always spunky but occasionally stubborn.
I love original characters and situations that force conversation, and above all things, banter. Ah, banter!
I will also make you cry sometimes, because, well I’m contrary like that.
I write funny, mostly-realistic love stories with a helping of family drama. The women are strong, the men are swoony, and the families are a pain in the neck. Like I said – mostly realistic.
If you’re interested in having Elizabeth visit your book club virtually, send a message through the Contact page or an email to elizabethadamswrites@gmail.com and we’ll see if it’s possible.
